RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - For the coming years, instant funds transfer tool Pix will be able to be used in offline and international transactions, announced yesterday (16) Central Bank (BC) president Roberto Campos Neto. There is no date set yet for the new features to come into force.
Campos Neto made the announcement at a special BC event to celebrate the new tool's one-year anniversary. He said Pix has not yet reached its full potential. "The use of the QR Code still depends on a better understanding of the technology by its users," he explained.
