The Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) is positioning itself to act in the demobilization of the camp near the Army HQ in Brasília.

The information was disclosed by CNN Brasil this Thursday morning (29).

Protesters against the election of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) have been there for almost two months.

However, in a note sent yesterday (28) to the Metrópoles website, the Army’s Social Communication Center reported that “many demonstrators have left the site spontaneously.”

According to the portal, soldiers from the Planalto Military Command are helping to dismantle the structures that were abandoned in the Urban Military Sector area, according to the Army, to improve “the circulation and security of the place”.

“Finally, it should be noted that all actions have been carried out in close coordination with the bodies of the Government of the Federal District (GDF), with which it maintains permanent integration”, completes the note.
