Opinion: After fatal quarrel between two men in Brazil, matter is being played up politically

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - (Opinion) Left-wing community guard Marcelo Arruda, former vice mayoral candidate of Lula da Silva's Workers' party PT for 2020 in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná state, was shot in the early hours of this Sunday, 10, during a birthday party by an officer of the Federal Criminal Police, Bolsonarista Jorge José da Rocha Guaranho. Both men died.

Videos recorded by a surveillance camera show the moment when Jorge José da Rocha Guaranho argues with the city guard Marcelo Aloizio de Arruda. The fatal shooting occurred 12 minutes later.
