Donald Coggin Dies August 13, 2011

Donald Coggin, a member of the British community, died last Saturday, 13th August. Donald resided latterly in São Pedro da Serra and is survived by his wife, Maria de Jesus, and their daughter. Donald was a member of the Royal British Legion, having served on active service in the Royal Engineers for 6 years, during and after the 2nd WW. His funeral took place this morning, 15th August 2011, in São Pedro da Serra, 7º distrito de N.Friburgo. The widow, Dª Maria de Jesus, wishes to thank the members of the Royal British Legion and the Volunteers Fund for all the help given to her husband. They have been married for 38 years and she will miss him very much. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family at this time of great loss. May Donald rest in peace.
