Brazil-China and Brics parliamentary fronts will be launched on Wednesday

On Wednesday (Mar.15, 2023), Poder360 will broadcast the launching event of the Brazil-China Parliamentary Front and Brics Front, the bloc formed by Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa in the National Congress.

The solemnity will occur at the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center in Brasília.

He is expected to go to the Asian country on March 26 and return to Brazil on March 30.

During the solemnity, federal congressman Fausto Pinato (PP-SP) will be officially sworn in as president of the fronts.

Pinato has led Chinese-Brazilian relations between the Brics countries since 2015 in the National Congress.

In addition to Pinato, other congress members make up the board of the fronts and will be sworn in at the event.

Chamber representatives Gutemberg Reis (MDB-RJ), Luiz Fernando Faria (PSD-MG), Vander Loubet (PT-MS), Cláudio Cajado (PP-BA), government leader in Congress Carlos Zarattini (PT-SP) and Senator Chico Rodrigues (PSB-RR) will be sworn in as vice-presidents.

Congressman Acácio Favacho (MDB-AP) will be sworn in as secretary-general.

The cermony will start at 8 pm, with a live broadcast on Poder360’s YouTube channel.

“The fronts bring together parliamentary leaders who recognize the importance of Sino-Brazilian relations and among the BRICS countries and promote actions for improving trade flow and enhancing harmony, balance, and progress among nations. It is this pragmatic vision that Brazil needs for a new time of development and prosperity,” says Pinato.

The event is organized by Ibrachina (Brazil-China Sociocultural Institute) and Lide China, with the support of the Tourism and International Relations Secretaries of the GDF (Federal District Government).
