Boulos and Datena lead vote intentions for mayor of São Paulo, says poll

According to the Paraná Pesquisas institute, federal congressman and leader of extremist groups, Guilherme Boulos (Psol), leads the 2024 electoral race for the mayor of São Paulo (SP), followed by TV host José Luiz Datena.

The congressman leads in all scenarios in the poll when respondents are presented with options.

Boulos appears with 26.3% of voting intentions, against Datena’s 24.3%.

The two are followed by the city’s current mayor, Ricardo Nunes (MDB), with 8.5%.

The federal congressman and former Minister of Environment in the Bolsonaro government, Ricardo Salles (PL), also appears with 4.8% of intentions.

The survey also shows Tabata Amaral (PSB), with 3.9%; Kim Kataguiri (União), with 3.3%; and Vinicius Poit (Novo), with 1.6% of voting intentions.

According to the institute, the survey was conducted from February 23 to 26, 2023.

1,012 voters were heard, and the margin of error was 3.1 percentage points.
