This is another case that happened in Rondônia state. It took place between the municipalities of Pimenta Bueno and Vilhena.
A tower was knocked down, however, there was no significant consequence for the national interconnected system, according to the National Electric System Operator (ONS).
Last Friday (13), a 4th power tower was vandalized in the city of Rio das Pedras, in the interior of São Paulo state.
On the night of Sunday (08) to Monday (09), three electricity transmission towers were knocked down in the states of Paraná and Rondônia.
According to Aneel (National Electric Energy Agency), there is evidence of “sabotage” and “vandalism”.
