The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), said that São Paulo is the state where people most refused to respond to the survey.

São Paulo’s rate is 5.42%, almost double the average for Brazil, which is 2.82%. In addition, 35% of the population of the metropolitan region of São Paulo did not respond to the survey.

So far, Brazil has 86.4% of the registered population.

The institute started making Dial-Census 137 available to all states. The 2022 Census collection has been in the field since August.

IBGE census takers are visiting all Brazilian households.

If you have not answered the questionnaire, check if someone in your household has responded.

If nobody answered, call 137 and talk to them. The call is free, every day, from 8am to 9.30pm.
