“The concessionaire advises passengers to look for the airlines to know the status of flights,” the airport said in a statement.

Pilots, copilots, and flight attendants held a protest in the airport corridors with signs claiming salary adjustment.

At Guarulhos airport (SP), three flight delays and no cancellations were registered until 7 am.

In Rio de Janeiro, Galeão registered delays and cancellations because of the strike and also because of bad weather in the city.

So far, the strike has caused a delay in takeoff. However, even with the intense flow of passengers, there is no record of confusion in the airport terminal.

Anac advises that “passengers affected by the consequences of the strike should contact the airlines individually to obtain information about delayed flights and rebooking.
