The CPAC held in Mexico reaffirms the need to wage the cultural battle against the left

Conservatives from all over the Iberosphere have participated in the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) held in Mexico, a meeting that reaffirmed the need to defend freedom, democracy, the rule of law, the defense of life and the fight against the culture of cancellation against the left and the narco-communism that are advancing in the region.

In the meeting, led by the producer and pro-life activist Eduardo Verástegui, the leader of VOX, Santiago Abascal, who participated via telematics, stressed the need for conservatives from around the world to work together and have joint strategies “against the offensive of socialists and communists that is ending democracies and the freedom of people on both sides of the Atlantic.”

And the former president of the United States Donald Trump, who stated that it is very important for conservatives to unite in the CPAC to “defend God, family and country.” “We have to secure our borders and dismantle the cartels that violate our people. We need to stop the spread of socialism,” he stated.

Thus, the former candidate for the presidency of Chile, José Antonio Kast, said that the region “is in danger” because the left and the enemies of freedom have reached the governments and carry out an agenda that “seeks to destroy the bases of the coexistence.”

“We have the most lethal weapon of mass destruction against the progressive left: common sense (…). Sooner rather than later we will free Latin America from the socialist yoke. Let us defend our ideas without fear and without complexes,” he added.

The VOX MEP, Hermann Tertsch, attended the meeting and in his speech he pointed out that in Europe today “important things” are being achieved in the face of those who try to imitate socialism. “We are getting that conservative force that wants (…) to end socialism, destroy the idea of ​​communism, demonstrate the resounding failure of this totalitarian project.”

“The socialist and communist ideology has always failed and everywhere, without exception, and has never generated anything other than poverty, fear, pain, violence, repression, crime and death (…). It is the most damaged merchandise in the world,” he asserted.

For his part, the International Relations Director of the Disenso Foundation, Juan Ángel Soto, stressed that “conservatism is above all a way of life” and celebrated that “the alliance of conservatives is advancing in the world.”

Also participating in the CPAC were Brazilian federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro, the legislator and candidate for the presidency of Argentina, Javier Milei, the anti-communist leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner Lech Walesa, and the president of Guatemala, Alejandro Giammattei, who asserted that the defense of life has caused them “negative consequences and adversities in multilateral instances” and stated that conservatives “are on the right side of history.” “Let’s hold firm against fashions,” he concluded.
