Brazil: Tauá group plans Minas Gerais state’s first indoor water park in Caeté

The Tauá group has announced a renovation plan for several hotels of its brand for the next two years.

In Caeté, the first hotel of the chain, the renovation that will start this year promises the construction of the first indoor water park in Minas Gerais.

The project also foresees the construction of two more restaurants, one with Italian and another with Japanese cuisine, and new bars.

The idea also includes remodeling the existing pools, new waterslides, and the indoor park.

SOFT OPENING IN ARAXÁ

The Grande Hotel Termas de Araxá opened its reservations last month in a “soft opening” scheme, in which only 50 rooms are available – the full opening of all units will happen on the first day of December.

The hotel is considered a historical patrimony and became famous for its medicinal baths in the hot springs, waters heated naturally by the earth.
