Messi surprisingly decides to leave PSG in 2023; target will be a giant of European soccer

Messi’s days at PSG are numbered.

The Argentine, who wore the club’s colors for one season and had his best time in Ligue 1, has confirmed that he will leave the French club when his contract expires in July 2023.

According to journalist Miquel Blazquez, the decision has already been made.

Lionel Messi came to Paris last year and signed a two-year contract at PSG.

This season he lives his last year of the contract, and, aware, PSG would have sought him for an extension.

But the Argentine refused and let PSG know he would not stay for the next season of European soccer.

The destination, in turn, is usually Barcelona.

Laporta and Messi met last week to reconcile.

In the conversation, Laporta apologized to the Argentine and explained everything that he had not been able to clarify when he left FC Barcelona in 2021.

There is an interest in Barcelona to bet on the soccer of the Argentine superstar.

There is also a big offer for the jersey with the number 10, which will be a significant position in the Spanish club when he returns to Barcelona.

With the colors of PSG, Messi comes to 17 goals in 45 games and 23 assists in just over a season.
