Brazil: São Paulo City records 3 traffic accidents with 2 deaths and 17 injured in 24 hours

São Paulo City recorded three serious traffic accidents with two deaths and 17 injured in less than 24 hours.

They occurred between Sunday morning, September 18, and Monday morning, September 19, in the South and East zones of the São Paulo state capital. The information is from the police.

A 50-year-old driver died after losing control of the car he was driving and crashing into another vehicle and a tree. His wife, 66 years old, was injured but survived.

The accident occurred around 10:30 PM on Sunday, on Avenida Francisco Morato, in Morumbi, South Zone of São Paulo.

On Monday, a driver died after her car and another vehicle collided head-on in Moema, in the South Zone. The driver of the other vehicle was injured.

On Sunday, 15 people in a minibus were injured after the vehicle was hit by a car in São Miguel Paulista, in the East Zone of the city.
