“Bastard who rips up the Constitution,” says influential evangelical leader of Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Moraes

The charismatic leader of the evangelical Church ‘Assembly of God Victory in Christ’, Pastor Silas Malafaia, is a figure that can not be disregarded with impunity in Brazil.

The former televangelist was so upset by the political persecution of the Brazilian judiciary against Jair Bolsonaro, which is in no way inferior to that of the Argentine judiciary against Cristina Kirchner, took action and did what millions of Brazilians had long wished for.

He attacked the controversial Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes head-on by posting a video on his Instagram profile Wednesday (24) in which he calls him, among other things, a “bastard who tears up the Constitution.”

Already a year ago, Malafaia said, “we cannot be silent or cowardly in this decisive moment. The Brazilian people are the supreme power, and God is the supreme judge.”

Malafaia cited the ‘Fake News investigation’ underway at the Supreme Court under Moraes’ reporting.

The pastor called the investigation “immoral and illegal.” About the judge, he said, “This bastard is at the same time victim, commissioner, accuser and judge” – something that, in his opinion, did not exist “even in the Inquisition.”

Malafaia then declared that the investigation is “an aberration that stains Brazilian justice,” reiterated that Moraes is “tearing up the Constitution,” and asked, “who will stop this bastard.”

“We are living in a police state that is equivalent to Nazism, fascism, and communism,” he said. “Is that Nicaragua, China, Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela?” he asked.

The fake news investigation persecutes those who are ‘spreading fake news’ against Supreme Court Justices.

Yes, you can tell as many lies about President Jair Bolsonaro as you want in Brazil, but if you say something about the Supreme Court that they don’t like, you’ll get a beating, say critics of the ‘dictatorship that comes by the pens’.

President Jair Bolsonaro (PL, right) became part of the investigation after he informed the public about his doubts regarding the Brazilian electoral process in a live broadcast on July 29, 2021, which did not please at all the establishment and its narrative.

In the video, Malafaia said that “the people, who are the supreme power of a nation,” will “give an answer.”

The speech is illustrated with a green and yellow card that reads, “September 7 – all people to the streets!” When a people rebel, no one holds back,” the religious leader said.
