Paraguayan airline Paranair resumes flights to Ciudad del Este

From September, the airline Paranair will reactivate the route Asunción – Ciudad del Este with two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Fridays.

On Thursday, August 18, the airline announced the resumption of flights to Ciudad del Este (Guaraní International Airport) would officially begin on September 20.

“It is a great pleasure and satisfaction to resume our service to Ciudad del Este. Ciudad del Este was the first destination we flew to, and it is part of our core business because it brings Paraguay closer to the world.

“With this operation, we will strengthen the commercial and tourist relations between Asunción and Ciudad del Este, as well as between these destinations and the region,” said the airline’s general director, Jaime Cassola.

Paranair plans to increase frequencies to this destination gradually. Passengers are entitled to 23 kilograms of checked baggage and 5 kilograms of hand luggage and can reach the cities of Buenos Aires and Montevideo.

It is important to remember that the company offers international connections from Silvio Pettirossi International Airport to Buenos Aires (Argentina), Montevideo, Santa Cruz (Uruguay), and in the summer season to Punta del Este (Uruguay), Florianópolis, and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
