Brazil: July starts with strong heat in the Southeast and Northeast regions

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The second half of the year and the month of July start with increasing heat in almost all of Brazil.

This Friday, July 1, the sun will shine strongly in the entire area corresponding to the Southeast, Midwest, Northeast, and North.

The weather will be dry in almost the entire region, with cities like São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Goiânia, and Cuiabá watching out for low air humidity.

Humidity will not be low in the South, where frosts are expected – when temperatures stay below 5°C – and on the coast of the Northeast, which will experience rain all week.

However, the heat still appears throughout the Northeast region, even amid thunderstorms. The situation will extend throughout the weekend.

July, in turn, is considered the coldest month of the year but will have temperatures close to the historical averages.

It means that in the warm regions, the heat will continue. And where it is cold, the weather will be cold just the same, and the temperature range will be high in some cities like São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, and Cuiabá.
