Brazil elections 2022: Bolsonaro leads in Paraná state with 47% -poll

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – According to a recent poll from Paraná Pesquisas in the state of Paraná in southern Brazil, conservative Jair Bolsonaro (PL) leads the race for the presidential election with 47% compared to 30% for Lula da Silva of the leftist Worker’s party PT, who is ahead in the national scenario. In third place is Ciro Gomes (PDT) with 5.7%.

Paraná Elections – Presidential Election:

Bolsonaro (PL): 47.0%.
Lula (PT): 30.0%.
Ciro Gomes (PDT): 5.7%.
Janones (Avante): 1,4%.
Simone Tebet (MDB): 1.3%.
Luciano Bivar (União Brasil): 0.8%.
Pablo Marçal (Pros): 0.7%.
Vera Lúcia (PSTU): 0.4%.
Eyecup (DC): 0.3%.
Felipe d’Avila (Novo): 0.3%.
blank/zero/none: 7.1%.
don’t know/no answer: 4.9%.

The poll surveyed 1,540 people from June 12-16, 2022, in 65 municipalities in Paraná. The survey is registered with the TSE (Supreme Electoral Tribunal) under numbers PR-02498/2022 and BR-09457/2022. The margin of error is 2.5 percentage points, up or down.

It cost R$15,000 and was paid for by TV Bandeirantes.
