Brazil elections 2022: Bolsonaro leads in Santa Catarina state with 45.1%

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – In a Paraná Pesquisas survey released on June 14, President Jair Bolsonaro (Liberal Party – PL) leads voting intentions in Santa Catarina state, with 45.1%.

He is ahead of former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Workers’ Party – PT), who appears with 29%.

Here are the voting intentions of the other candidates:

  • Ciro Gomes (PDT) – 6.2%;
  • Vera Lúcia (PSTU) – 1.6%;
  • Simone Tebet (MDB) – 1.4%;
  • André Janones (Avante) – 0.9%;
  • Pablo Marçal (Pros) – 0.6%;
  • Felipe D’Avila (Novo) – 0.5%;
  • Luciano Bivar (União Brasil) – 0.3%;
  • Eymael (DC) – 0.2%;
  • None, Blank, Null – 8.8%;
  • Don’t know, no answer – 5.5%.

METHODOLOGY

The survey heard 1,540 voters from June 9 to 13 in the state of Santa Catarina.

The margin of error is 2.5% plus or minus in a 95% confidence interval.

The survey registration with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) is BR-02099/2022.
