Brazil and Real Madrid capitalize on the most valuable soccer players of the moment

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The website Transfermarkt has updated the market value of footballers after the winter transfer window closed. The new quotations have drawn up eleven of the most highly valued Latin American players of the moment. The players who make up this ideal team would be worth €640 million (US$729 million).

For the first time in a long time, the most valued Latin American player is not Neymar Junior, whose market value is €90 million. He has been replaced by Real Madrid‘s Vinicius Junior, also from Brazil, whose market value amounts to €100 million. The Real Madrid player is accompanied in the attacking line by Argentine Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan) and Leo Messi (PSG), valued at €80 million and €60 million, respectively.

In the midfield, there are two La Liga players, both of whom play for Real Madrid. Casemerio (€60 million) and Fede Valverde (€65 million). Alongside them would be the Brazilian international of Olympique Lyon Paqueta, whose value has been set at €35 million.

BRAZILIAN DEFENSE

The defense will be made up entirely of Brazilian players: Atletico full-back Renan Lodi (€20 million), PSG center-back Marquinhos (€75 million), and Tottenham right-back Emerson Royal (€25 million).

The great novelty is the presence of Real Madrid center-back Éder Militão, who beats the red-and-white José María Giménez, whose value fell in December to €50 million. The Madrid player’s value rises to €60 million, €20 million more than the previous update.

The goalkeeper is Liverpool’s Alisson Becker, whose value remains at €60 million.

In short, a team of eleven with eight Brazilian players, Brazil being the most represented nationality, and with four Real Madrid players, the club with the most members.
