RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The festival’s production has announced the artists to perform on Palco Mundo (World Stage) in the City of Rock on September 3, 2022.
The second day of Rock in Rio 2022 will feature Post Malone, Alok, Jason Derulo and Marshmello.
Brazilian DJ Alok had already been confirmed by the event in 2019 and remains on the list. He will open the day on Palco Mundo, followed by international musicians Jason Derulo and Marshmello.
Twenty-six year-old rapper Post Malone will close the second night of the festival as the headliner.
Among the performers confirmed for Rock in Rio 2022 are pop singers Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato and rock bands Iron Maiden and Dream Theater.
Rock in Rio will take place on September 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, and 11, 2022, at the City of Rock in Rio de Janeiro. The Rock in Rio Card sales start on September 21, at 7 PM.
The Rock in Rio Card is equivalent to an anticipated ticket and guarantees access to the event before all bands and artists are confirmed.
