RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Singer Anitta is taking yet another step towards establishing her international career. The Rio de Janeiro singer will get a wax figure in the famous Madame Tussauds museum in New York, USA.
Wearing the costume of Garota do Rio, from her hit Girl from Rio, Anitta on Friday, August 13, posted a video showing the process of developing the digital mold on her social networks, with photos and measurements.
“I am so honored! I can’t wait to have my wax statue at Madame Tussauds in New York,” she wrote.
Madame Tussauds’ headquarters in London is home to the British Royal Family, the Beatles, Pope Francis, and other personalities. The wax museum has branches around the world and features other Brazilians like Pelé in London and New York, Neymar in Orlando, and model Alessandra Ambrósio, also in New York.
