RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Nubank was elected the best bank in Latin America in 2021, according to Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence, released on Wednesday, July 14, by Euromoney British magazine.
In addition to the main award, Nubank also won the “best digital bank in Latin America” category this year.
“These awards reinforce the relevance of our mission of empowering customers to control their financial lives and how this challenge is recognized worldwide, not only in countries where Nubank is present today,” it said.
Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence has been granted by the British magazine since 1992 and is considered the leading award for the global banking industry.
Other recognitions
Nubank was also named in 2021 by TIME magazine as one of the world’s 100 most influential companies and by CNBC as one of the most influential in its business.
Forbes magazine elected it the best bank in Brazil – and one of the best in the world – for three consecutive years in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
