RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Eve, the first independent company formed from EmbraerX, and Halo, a company with helicopter air taxi operations, have teamed up to develop urban air mobility (UAM) products and services in the United States and the United Kingdom, according to a statement issued by EMBRAER (EMBR3) on Tuesday, June 1.
The partnership includes an order for 200 eVTOL – electric vehicle for vertical take-off and landing – Eve’s aircraft, scheduled for delivery in 2026. The agreement seeks to develop a new eVTOL operation in the U.S. and U.K.
In addition to the order for 200 aircraft and the development of a new eVTOL operation, Eve and Halo will continuously develop Eve’s urban air traffic management system as well as its service offerings and fleet operations.

“This order represents one of the largest in the urban air mobility industry and positions Halo as Eve’s launch partner in both the U.S. and U.K. markets,” EMBRAER said.
“The strength of Halo’s international operations, coupled with Eve’s UAM portfolio, will be a key demonstration of how these partnerships can increase affordability and accessibility as both these companies work to safely scale UAM operations worldwide,” the company added.
