With 2,791 new deaths, Brazil completes 50 days with an average of more than 2,000 (May 5)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – In the last week alone, 2,329 people died as a result of covid-19 in Brazil. It is already 50 consecutive days with an average of deaths above 2,000, according to data obtained by the press consortium.

Only in the last 24 hours, the records pointed to 2,791 new deaths, bringing to 414,645 the number of deaths recorded since the beginning of the pandemic.
