RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The Fire Department is working on getting the pilots out of the cabin, trapped in the wreckage. The third victim had only minor injuries.
An accident involving an airplane was registered on Tuesday (20/4) at the Pampulha Airport in Belo Horizonte (MG). According to the first information from the Fire Department, the aircraft had three crew members.
One of them managed to get out of the plane and had only minor injuries. Until 3 pm, the Fire Department was still working to remove the other two victims, who would be the pilots of the cabin and are trapped in the wreckage.
It is suspected that there was a failure in the plane’s landing gear as it approached the runway. The area was closed from 1:55 pm until 2:29 pm.
