São Paulo state reopens schools with a maximum limit of 35% of student capacity

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – As announced last Friday, April 9, schools will be allowed to operate at 35% of full capacity, but the curfew from 8 PM to 5 AM remains in effect in the state.

Soccer games have been cleared since last Saturday, as long as they take place after 8 PM and have no live audience.

According to health authorities, the changes were possible because the rate of hospitalizations for Covid-19 has dropped – 17.7% lower last week in relation to the previous week.
