Brazil records 1,987 Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours (April 3)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Brazil registered this Saturday 1,987 deaths from covid-19 and 43,515 new infections, according to a survey by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass), released this April 3.

The country has accumulated 12,953,597 confirmed cases and 330,193 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

The Conass survey is based on the compilation of data from the 26 states and the Federal District’s health secretariats.
