Brazilian Tourist Destinations Attract Travelers from Around the World

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The year has barely begun and Brazilian tourist destinations are now excelling in travelers’ choices worldwide. In a recent TripAdvisor website survey (Travelers’ Choice Awards), conducted based on user ratings, five tourist attractions in Brazil featured among the world’s top destination lists.

Among them are Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park (GO) and the cities of Campos do Jordão (SP), Natal (RN), Armação dos Búzios (RJ) and Ubatuba (SP).

In the “National Parks” category, Chapada dos Veadeiros, located in the heart of Brazil, was ranked among the top 25 in the world. According to users’ feedback, the location is ideal for those seeking breathtaking waterfalls, sparkling natural pools and stunning rock formations.

Furthermore, nature was another great differential for voters, given that the environmental conservation area is known for its trails and the observation of native wild animals such as toucans, armadillos, among others.

Beach towns Armação dos Búzios (RJ) and Ubatuba (SP) are among the 25 emerging destinations, those that travelers most “saved” on the platform and are considering for their next trip.

The city of Búzios in Rio de Janeiro state is known for attracting surfers, divers and tourists to enjoy the over 20 beaches available, and coastal Ubatuba is also a surfers’ paradise, known as the Surf Capital of São Paulo, in addition to being a major nautical center. There are plenty of attractions for these two beautiful destinations in Brazil.

In terms of “Destinations on the Rise”, Natal (RN) and Campos do Jordão (SP) are listed among the cities that have grown in popularity, received positive ratings and inspired the wish to visit them again.

Surrounded by several attractions, the capital of the “Potiguar” state (as Rio Grande no Norte is known) boasts Ponta Negra beach as the busiest and Morro do Careca, one of the most famous tourist spots in the city. In Campos do Jordão, in the higher elevations of São Paulo state, around 200 kilometers from the capital, tourists can enjoy the cold or even the heat in several attractions ranging from train rides, villages and hills to a tour through a brewery.
