Rio Records Hottest Day Since February on Friday at 37.6ºC

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL –  On Friday, September 4th, Rio de Janeiro recorded its hottest winter temperature to date. According to the Climatempo website, the thermometers reached 37,6ºC. This is the highest record in the capital of Rio de Janeiro since February 19th.

As for the long weekend, Rio is likely to experience hot weather. Between Saturday, September 5th and Monday, September 7th, Brazil’s Independence Day, the forecast is for sun with the presence of clouds, but no rain. Temperatures should range between 17 and 33 degrees.
