SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – In a mere 48 hours, the death of another child in the São Paulo capital, victim of the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, was confirmed by data from the São Paulo State Health Secretariat.
She was 3 years old and is the sixth child victim of the disease in the state, the third this week. Five other children died with coronavirus in less than one month.
The first and second cases were recorded in the city of São Paulo and were seven months and one year old, respectively. The third child lived in Penápolis (477 km from São Paulo) and was nine years old.
The fourth was four years old and lived in Francisco Morato (Greater São Paulo). The fifth, a one-year-old baby, was also from the capital of São Paulo. The two children died this week, according to information from the São Paulo government.
