RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The protest was named ‘March to Brasília’, and among its organizers are Bolsonarist Youtuber Sara Winter, a former feminist, and an Instagram profile called Robô (‘Robot’) – which has 3,276 followers, including Flávio and Carlos Bolsonaro, the president’s sons.
The organizers’ proposal is to camp outside the National Congress and demand Rodrigo Maia to step down from the Chamber of Deputies’ presidency.
The organizers are summoning reserve military personnel and low-ranking military personnel’s wives, precisely those who, during his time as a legislator, Bolsonaro kept among his most faithful constituents, pledging to stand up for them in Congress.
