RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – In seven hours 29 more COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the city of Rio de Janeiro, rising to 94. In the state of Rio there are 109 cases of the novel Coronavirus.
Of the 29 cases, the highest growth occurred in Leblon, which increased from nine to 16 cases, along with Barra da Tijuca as the neighborhood with the most cases, Barra climbed from 12 to 16.
Although there are 22 neighborhoods with COVID-19 cases, the good news is that in Jacarepaguá the number of cases has not increased. There were two in the noon report.
Of the 94 confirmed cases, 23 are hospitalized and 12 are in intensive care units. The city of Rio continues with no deaths.
