São Paulo Has Four Confirmed Coronavirus Deaths

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The state of São Paulo registered three deaths by the new coronavirus on Wednesday, March 18th. The state has four fatal victims of the disease, according to the State Health Secretariat of São Paulo.

According to the secretariat, the deaths confirmed on Wednesday are of three elderly men, with other serious health conditions, and ages of 65, 81, and 85 years. The 81-year-old patient lived in the city of Jundiaí and the others in the capital of São Paulo.

The secretariat also reported that in the last 24 hours alone, 76 new cases of the disease have been confirmed in the state. As a result, the number of Covid-19 cases in São Paulo has increased to 240.
