Apple AirPods Pro Cancel Out Noise, Will Cost R$2,249 in Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Without much fanfare, Apple has announced the AirPods Pro: the new Bluetooth headsets feature active noise cancellation and promise a superior and more immersive sound experience.

The release was already expected due to leaks. They will be sold this week in the USA and will reach Brazil later this year costing R$2,249.

Apple AirPods Pro are to be released in the US for US$249; wireless headset has microphones for noise cancellation.

With a design similar to conventional AirPods, the new AirPods Pro are of the in-ear type, with silicone tips that allow a better sealing for noise insulation, as found in other earphones. The product box includes three size options for a customizable fit.

The device is equipped with two microphones for noise cancellation. The first one is the outward-facing microphone and detects external sound, while the second one is inward-facing and listens inside the ear for unwanted sound and sending an inverted sound wave.

According to Apple, the headset assesses the surrounding sound more than 200 times per second through software to ensure better insulation.

For moments when attention is required, such as walking on the street, there is Ambient Mode, which continues with playback but retains external sound. The mode can be activated both by the smartphone and by the headset itself, by pressing the base firmly to turn active noise cancellation on and off.

Apple Airpods Pro have Siri and wireless charging case

The battery features four-and-a-half hoursof listening time on one charge, plus a compatible Qi wireless charging case that gives you 24 hours of additional battery life. Apple says that five minutes of recharge in the case deliver about one hour of audio.

Just like second-generation AirPods, the AirPods Pro also have hands-free Siri support. The connection is quick and easy with iOS devices, and the content played can be shared with other W1-chip headsets.

AirPods Pro starts selling in the United States on October 30th for US$249. In Brazil, they will cost R$2,249 (US$562,25). Apple has not announced the release date here but told Tecnoblog that the product will be available in the country by the end of the year.
