AgroNordeste (AgroNortheast) will assist agricultural production chains in the region to expand and diversify the trade channels, “acting with social, environmental and economic relevance and seeking to increase production efficiency and social benefits.”

According to the ordinance, the plan will also work to pinpoint obstacles hindering the competitiveness of northeastern agricultural sectors with growth potential and support the improvement of production systems, enhancement, and product processing.

AgroNordeste will also work on producers’ access to credit, as well as technical assistance and technologies, with the aim of developing products with greater added value and strategies for coping with droughts.
