Unprecedented Da Vinci Exhibition Comes to São Paulo in October

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – Inspired by an old Parisian factory shed of 3.300 m² that has become one of the most incredible artistic experiences in the world — the Atelier des Lumières –, the Museu da Imagem e do Som de São Paulo (“Museum of Image and Sound of São Paulo”) will launch its  “MIS Imersão”.

The museum’s new space will open its doors in October with the most comprehensive exhibition experience on Leonardo da Vinci.

This will be the first fully immersive space in Latin America. The Brazilian version will cover 2,000 m² and will feature 150 projectors.

Created by Grande Exhibitions in collaboration with the Museo Leonardo da Vinci in Rome and a number of experts and historians from Italy and France, this interactive experience commemorates 500 years of Leonardo’s legacy, immersing visitors in his extraordinary life like never before.

This unprecedented exhibition will be a unique experience on Brazilian soil not to be missed. Currently, the exhibition is on display in Canada.

The announcement was confirmed by the new director-general of the museum, Marcos Mendonça. According to him, the new space devoted to immersive projection will take place in an old carpentry shed of TV Cultura, in the district of Água Branca.
