SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – The State Police (PM) seized 320 bags containing marijuana bars in the early hours of Sunday, June 30th, in Barueri, Greater São Paulo.
Each bag weighed between 10 kg and 20 kg. The seized drugs could total over four tons. Four men were arrested on suspicion of trafficking.
The marijuana bags were in five vehicles inside a company located on Rua João Ferreira de Camargo, in Jardim Mutinga, in Barueri.
The Police arrived at the scene after a reported robbery at the company, which was not named. Once there, the police found approximately ten people removing bags from a truck and carrying them to four other vehicles: two small trucks, a pickup truck and a car.
Four suspects were arrested at the scene and taken together with the marijuana to the Barueri police station, where the case was registered.
