Anitta’s Song “Faz Gostoso” With Madonna was Released

By Contributing Reporter

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – As a result of Madonna’s collaboration with Anitta, the song released this Friday, June 14th, as part of Madonna’s album “Madame X” and acclaimed by foreign critics, “Faz Gostoso” is the re-recording of a huge success by Luso-Brazilian singer Blaya which topped the charts in Portugal for months.

The American singer surprises from the start, singing parts in Portuguese, followed by the Brazilian diva with her parts in English.

“All I want to say today is thank you. As I told you in person @madonna … If today I feel free, powerful, and strong to express myself, my sexuality, and in my way to be a woman, it’s because of your fight for so many years. Your fight for freedom changed millions and millions of lives, including mine.”

“It’s such an honor to be part of your amazing story, somehow. Having your legend singing about one of the highest prejudiced rhythms in my country empowers a whole community who thought we would never be respected for singing the urban Brazilian Funk Music in our own country. Thank you for that, and thank you for changing my life, for teaching me so many things, directly and indirectly, while we were together. I want to continue to learn with you, throughout my life,” Anitta wrote on her Instagram.

“That’s it, Brazil. Madonna is singing funk. Tonight I sleep fulfilled,” she added.
