RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Hollywood actress Holland Roden is reportedly being detained at Brazil’s São Paulo–Congonhas Airport after officials told her that her visa was invalid.

The 32-year-old Teen Wolf actress was on her way to attend a fan convention when she was stopped by authorities, who have held her and her agent for over four hours without food or water.

Holland took to her Instagram to explain the situation, writing: “After two years of traveling to Brazil with this passport and this visa with no problems, to meet fans and make friends, I am taken aback by the accusations and the treatment that faced me from the Brazilian Police today… Please urge your country to have reasonable treatment to people entering the country with valid identification.”

Holland‘s representative added in a statement to People: “Her visa is valid and she has traveled to the country twice this year with the same visa. We are desperately seeking help from the U.S. embassy and the Brazilian government. We fear they will send her back without re-evaluating her situation. The only person she knows there is her agent, Michael Brooks, and the Brazilian officials are treating them like criminals and are trying to separate them. We need the public to know about this aggressive and uncalled-for behavior.”
