SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – Larissa Rodrigues da Silva, a 21-year-old transsexual, was bludgeoned to death on Saturday (4th) at Alameda dos Tacaúnas, in the neighborhood of Saúde, in the South Zone of São Paulo. The case has been recorded as murder. The attacker fled.
A witness told the police that he was with the victim when an unidentified man in a car nearly ran over them. Later, the offender returned with the vehicle and got out holding a wooden stick, hitting the victim with the object.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security, the police were called in to respond to an assault and upon arriving at the scene found the victim knocked out with injuries to her head.
Samu was activated and helped the victim at the Saboya Emergency Room, where she died.
The case was recorded by the 27th Police District – Campo Belo, which requested expertise and necroscopic examination of the victim.
