RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – A 22-year-old girl was raped on Sunday morning (21st) in a shed in the municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde (330 km from Cuiabá), after accepting the invitation of an unknown man to use drugs. According to the Military Police, the crime occurred around 7 am this morning, in a shed in Bairro Veneza.
The victim told the police that she did not know the suspect but that he was to provide her with drugs at the time. However, when they arrived at the agreed location, he dropped the drugs on the floor and asked her to pick them up.
According to record of the occurrence, when she bent to pick them up, the suspect grabbed her by the neck and raped her. According to the victim, the suspect is still to be located by the police and responds by the nickname “jogador”.
The Military Police are in search of the suspect and the Civilian Police should investigate the case.
