The group emerged from California’s Hermosa Beach in the early 1990s and became a cornerstone institution of the punk and hardcore music scene.

The band went on to amass an international following with their relentless touring and a melodic, high-energy sound fusing classic punk, surf punk, and blistering hardcore.

Through the years, Pennywise have solidified their place in punk history with iconic songs like “Fuck Authority,” “Alien,” and “Bro Hymn.”

After almost three decades of rocking, Pennywise is a fundamental punk rock and hardcore band, who have accumulated a lot of success over this time. Since 2005 the band have managed to release a new album every two years, which means in total the band has released eleven full-length studio albums.

Their newest album, which was released this year is their first album with new songs written by singer Jim Lindberg, guitarist Fletcher Dragge, drummer Byron McMackin and bassist Randy Bradbury in more than ten years.

Pennywise brings together the best of Southern California’s punk spirit to their music, pointing out the world’s problems while celebrating life out loud and proud.
