The festival marks the beginning of a public–private partnership program entitled,’Reverte Para a Escola’ (Reverts to School). The program aims to connect the free, public Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage (EAV) with the private sector in the hopes of raising additional funding for the institution’s educational and related activities.

Headlining the musical performances on Saturday will be the Rio de Janeiro group, Opala. Consisting of musicians Lucas Paiva and Maria Luiza Jobim, daughter of Brazilian music legend Tom Jobim, the duo released their debut EP in 2013 and have been steadily building their fan base since. Additional names on the festival`s live music line-up include Kosmos & Arredores, Wladimir Gasper, L_Cio & Cachu, and Domina featuring Kindkid, Manara, Savio de Queiroz, and Marcleo Mudou.
