The retrospective will feature all of the 25 films directed by Coppola. Spanning almost fifty years, they depict parts of America’s changing cultural landscape during the second half of the twentieth century.

The films to be screened include Coppola’s early “skin flicks”, “Tonight for Sure,” his first film which debuted in 1962, and “The Bellboy and the Playgirls,” his second, filmed the same year. Also showing will be the 1963 thriller “Dementia 13,” which Coppola directed for B-movie veteran Roger Corman, and the three films of The Godfather Trilogy; “The Godfather (1972)”, “The Godfather Part II” (1974), and “The Godfather Part III” (1990).

Also included will be screenings of “American Graffiti” (1973); “Apocalypse Now” (1979);”Rumble Fish” (1983); “The Cotton Club” (1984); “Peggy Sue Got Married (1986)”; “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” (1992); and Coppola’s most recent works, “Tetro” (2009) and “Twixt” (2011).

Additionally, two documentaries about the multiple-award winning director, producer and screenwriter will screen as part of the retrospective. The first, “Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse,” is a 1991 documentary by Eleanor Coppola, George Hickenlooper, and Fax Bahr that chronicles Coppola’s struggles to complete the film “Apocalypse Now”, and the second is “A Decade Under the Influence: ’70s Films That Changed Everything,” a 2003 documentary directed by Ted Demme and Richard LaGravenese about the monumental shift in filmmaking during the decade of the 1970s and Coppola’s and other’s influence during the period.
