On Thursday morning, around 5 a.m., celebrated photographer Ingryd Alves Silvestrone faced a sudden medical crisis.
Despite two hours of medical intervention, she tragically passed away at the age of 28.
The news quickly spread on her social media, where she had a large following of over 222,000 people.
A heartfelt statement on her account announced her passing, eliciting prayers and well-wishes for her family and friends.
Ingryd owned two photography studios in São Paulo, and she specialized in photographing expectant mothers, children, and adults.
Notably, she captured images of Mavie, the daughter of Neymar and Bruna Biancardi.
Additionally, she had documented significant events like baby showers for Zoe, MC Ryan and Giovanna Roque’s daughter, and Gael, Toguro and Nara Paraguaia’s son.
Her aspiration was to gain international recognition for her work.
According to a touching tribute on her social media, “Ingryd dreamt of making a difference wherever she went, and she succeeded.”
The night before her passing, Ingryd had shared a goodnight message on Instagram, thanking her followers for their continued support.
In her last video, she mentioned feeling tired and having a headache but expressed her intention to return the following day.
Her husband, Jefferson Silvestrone, later shared photos of the couple on Instagram, commemorating their 14 years together.
He also acknowledged a photo Neymar had posted of his daughter, taken by Ingryd. “You left behind a beautiful legacy. I’ll honor your name forever,” he wrote.
