In related news, Eneva is looking to expand through acquisitions of Eletrobras’ thermal plants and a merger with Vibra Energia.

The company is finalizing due diligence to make a formal offer for Eletrobras’ assets by the end of the month.

The privatization notice for Emae is expected to be released shortly, as stated by São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas. This move coincides with efforts to facilitate the sale of Sabesp.
