With the increase in cases of COVID-19 in some Latin American countries, governments decided to tighten sanitary controls at the borders.
Such is the case of Brazil, which imposed as a first measure the mandatory use of chinstraps both inside planes and at airports.
"Current epidemiological data indicate an increase in the number of covid-19 cases in the Brazilian population," mentions the National Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) in an official statement.
