Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight the Karaokê Indie party at Casa da Matriz in Botafogo will be celebrating Dia dos Namorados (Brazilian Valentine’s Day), which falls on Friday this year, as well as celebrating the group Backstreet Boys, who played in Rio’s Citibank Hall on Monday and will play there again on Thursday.
Titled “As long as you love me,” the party will feature 200 chocolates, 500 heart-shaped lollipops, and jars of M&M’s scattered around the venue.
In addition to eight hours of karaoke on the first floor, on the second floor DJ Ivy Nascimento will spin the best of the Backstreet Boys plus the best of ‘N Sync, Hanson, Take That, One Direction, Jonas Brothers, Spice Girls, TLC, Pussycat Dolls, Destiny’s Child, All Saints, and more.
Additionally during the night, specials will include two for one on five drinks; caipirinha, caipivodka, Hi-fi, Cuba Libre and mojito.
