Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight Karaokê Indie returns with its special Carnival edition. So bring out your a game costume and blast out some tunes at Botafogo’s Casa da Matriz.
This edition will go under the theme of Karaokê Indie à Fantasia (with costume) and will get you in the mood for Rio’s biggest holiday with confetti, props and much more. Helping with that will also be 30 liters of Batida do bar oswaldo that will be distributed throughout the night.
Additionally during the night on the second floor, the Brasileirinhas party will play music made in Brazil, spun by DJs Kleber Tuma (Alien Nation) and Tito Figueiredo (Paradiso).

The Copa Funk Party returns to Copacabana’s Fosfobox tonight with DJs Haron Dufau and Dorly spinning the best of funk, hip-hop, and Latin rhythms. Event promotions include unlimited caipifrutas from 10PM to 12AM and two for one beers until midnight.

New Yorker and Pizza Chef Sei Shiroma has moved his mobile oven into a permanent restaurant in Catete and it’s a great place to drop in before heading out for a night on the town. Ferro e Farinha is quickly gaining popularity in Rio with Shiroma’s Neapolitan-style gourmet pizza finished off with unique toppings that have included spicy honey, grana padano, zucchini, salt-cured eggplant, beets, watercress, orange balsamic vinaigrette lemon, and caramelized onions.
