Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – American singer-songwriter and guitarist Jason Mraz arrives at Citibank Hall in Barra da Tijuca tonight to perform live.
The Grammy-award winning musician, known for his smooth blend of pop and folk elements, is currently touring the world in support of his fifth studio album, Yes!
Mraz’s well-known songs include “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)“, “Lucky“, and “I Won’t Give Up“.
American rock-folk band Raining Jane is touring with Mraz as his opening act.

Tonight at Trapiche Gamboa it’s time for a roda de samba with Brazilian singer-songwriter Lu Fogaça and his trio. The group will blend modern music with samba, forró and MPB. They are well known for their reinterpretations of works by João Nogueira, João Bosco, Baden Powell, Vinicius de Moraes, Chico Buarque and Luiz Melodia, among others.
